I lived in University House for two years.
Pros: They make it easy to pay rent through their portal where you can set up auto pay. There’s a decent gym and a recreational pool as well as a party pool. If you like to party, this is the place to be. The management company promotes a social environment by having social events and promotions. Utilities are included so blast the AC as much as you want.
Cons: The maintenance people walk in whenever they want. They knock and are pretty courteous but nonetheless have keys and will walk in if you don’t answer the door. They will do this on occasion to check on fire alarms outside of requested maintenance. A huge problem is that if you’re sharing a room and something happens to the person you’re sharing with, the leasing office will replace them without your consent or approval. I had a terrible experience with a roommate getting put into my room due to this situation but the leasing office helped us rectify the situation.
